Reggie Bush had a big day, paving the way to a narrow victory for the Lions over the Bears, 21-19, at Soldier Field.
Matthew Stafford tore apart the Bears for three scores on 18 of 35 passing for 219 yards and one pick. On the Bears side, Jay Cutler went 21 for 40 with 250 yards passing, one touchdown and one pick.
Bush ran all over the Bears for 105 yards on 14 attempts. Calvin Johnson was a weapon for the offense, catching six balls for 83 yards with two touchdowns.
The Detroit defense managed to keep the running game in check, but could not slow down the aerial attack, giving up 38 yards rushing and 312 passing. They brought down Cutler for two sacks.
Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall had a productive game with 139 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Wide receiver Alshon Jeffery also gave a strong effort with 114 receiving yards.
The Lions head to Pittsburgh next week to face off with the Steelers (2-6) while the Bears will play host to the Ravens (3-5).
