Both Kings will go to Spain with Team USA.

USA Basketball announced its final cuts before the 2014 FIBA World Cup late on Friday, and both DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay survived. Both will represent the United State when the World Cup opens in Spain in a week.

The final four cuts were Chandler Parsons, Damian Lillard, Kyle Korver and Gordon Hayward. That brings the roster to 12.

On Friday against Puerto Rico, Gay was one of the first players off of the bench, scoring 13 points in 16 minutes on 5-9 shooting. Cousins was the second big man off of the bench behind Mason Plumlee. He played 12 minutes and finished with 8 points and 4 rebounds, plus four fouls.

Team USA is off to the Canary Islands on Saturday, where they will train for one more week, including an exhibition against Slovenia. (No Beno Udrih, sorry.) The World Cup begins August 30 as Team USA takes on Finland.
