In a complete performance, Kyle Lowry scored 19 points and added 12 assists and 7 rebounds to help the Toronto Raptors defeat the New Orleans Pelicans, 108-101. The Raptors shot lights out in this one, going 36-76 (47.4%) from the field and 26-33 (78.8%) at the free throw line. Toronto (27-24) picked up the win after falling to the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday.
Lowry finished 8-13 (1-4 from three-point range) in a quality performance offensively. Other top performers for Toronto were Patrick Patterson with 22 points and 6 rebounds, and Tyler Hansbrough with 12 points and 6 rebounds. Despite the loss, Tyreke Evans put up 23 points off the bench for New Orleans on 10-14 shooting from the field and 3-6 from the free throw line. He also added 10 assists, 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Anthony Davis chipped in 19 points and 7 rebounds.
New Orleans (22-29) has now lost back-to-back games after falling to Brooklyn on Sunday.
