David Wilson: Minor Hand Surgery

RotoWire.com Staff

Update: Wilson recently underwent a minor hand procedure to remove a bone chip in his palm, the Daily News reports. "It happened a while ago," Wilson said Thursday. "I didn't want to do it, like, before the season. But it was already chipped. So (they) just take it out so it won't be floating around."

Recommendation: Though Wilson's stitches (running from his palm down his wrist) are still visible, the injury was not considered serious and he's not expecting to miss any time because of it. Once his health is re-established, Wilson is on track to lead the Giants' 2013 backfield, which also includes Andre Brown and Ryan Torain, barring any further additions at the position.
