David Price: Notches 20th Win

RotoWire.com Staff

Update: Price earned his 20th win of the season Sunday, allowing two runs on five hits and two walks over seven innings, in the Rays' 6-2 victory versus the White Sox in Chicago.

Recommendation: While keeping Tampa Bay in the playoff chase, Price became the fourth 20-game winner in the majors in 2012, notching four strikeouts in the process. He finishes the season with a 20-5 record, 2.56 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, and 205 strikeouts in 211 innings, the third consecutive year that he's tallied at least 200 frames. He'll enter 2013 as not only one of MLB's premier left-handers, but one of the best overall, ensuring his early draft position once again.
