Danny Woodhead: Joins Chargers

RotoWire.com Staff

Update: Woodhead agreed to a two-year deal with San Diego on Friday, ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss reports.

Recommendation: Woodhead should displace Ryan Mathews from a significant number of third-down snaps, and given the durability issues Mathews has had, Woodhead could be one of the main handcuff targets at running back, even in non-PPR leagues. Woodhead was highly effective as a pass catcher for the Patriots last year, taking 40 receptions for 446 yards and three scores.
