Update: Granger (knee) participated in shootaround Friday and will resume non-contact activities within the next few days, the Indianapolis Star reports.
Recommendation: Granger has yet to play this season for the surging Pacers and it’s beginning to look like his return will come closer to early February than late January. His prolonged absence has allowed Lance Stephenson to start in the backcourt. The second-year man out of Cincinnati is averaging a career-high 7.8 points per game. Whenever Granger is healthy, Stephenson will likely return to the bench, and Gerald Green may also see a drop in minutes. Granger will undoubtedly look to improve upon his career-low field goal percentage (42%) last season.
