A depleted Patriots offense will likely get one of its playmakers back in time for Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

The New England Patriots expect wide receiver Danny Amendola to return to the lineup in Week 13, according to Jason Cole of Bleacher Report.

Amendola's status came down to a Saturday workout in preparation for Week 13's game against the Denver Broncos. However, the slot receiver ultimately did not make the trip to Denver with the team despite getting in limited practices during the week.

The Patriots took the field on Sunday night with just Brandon LaFell, Keshawn Martin and Chris Harper available at wide receiver, but will likely have more to work with when they square off against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Fantasy impact: It's certainly a more promising outlook for Tom Brady's fantasy prospects after it had seemed he would be without both Amendola and Rob Gronkowski. But now, it's possible he gets two important pass catchers back into action on Sunday as the team attempts to rebound from its first loss of the season.

Amendola figures to play a massive role upon his return after catching 19 passes for 196 yards since Julian Edelman's season-ending injury. Amendola is a fringe WR2/WR1 for Week 13 against a free-falling Philadelphia Eagles defense.
