The Dallas Cowboys have signed center Travis Frederick, their first-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, to a rookie contract, ESPNDallas reported Tuesday.
The deal is for four years with an option for a fifth year and includes a $3.38 million signing bonus, according to NFL.com. Frederick was the last of the Cowboys' picks in the April draft to sign with the team.
Frederick was considered a stretch as the No. 31 overall pick in the draft by some talent evaluators, who had him going in the late rounds. But the Cowboys are projecting the former Wisconsin center as their starter this season in hopes of shoring up their offensive line.
