The Dallas Cowboys have added some depth in the secondary by signing Brodney Pool.
The veteran safety picked up a one-year deal, according to the team, reuniting him with defensive coordinator Rob Ryan. A second-round pick out of Oklahoma in 2005, Pool spent the previous two seasons with the New York Jets. Prior to that, he played in Cleveland where Rob Ryan was.
Surely, Rob Ryan was able to get a scouting report from his brother on how Pool has played recently. He started six games in 2011.
