Conor McGregor shows off reaction skills in new video

Conor McGregor might get destroyed in his Aug. 26 fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr., or he might last long enough to lose on points. (Oh, right … he could win. Sure.) Anyway, no matter what happens, you can’t say McGregor isn’t preparing. He’s released a video training with Ido Portal, snagging something — playing cards? credit cards? hotel room keys? — out of the air like he’s auditioning for the role of Gambit. Granted, Mayweather probably won’t be slinging playing cards at McGregor, but if he does, McGregor’s got this.

Worth noting: Portal is the same guy who McGregor’s rival Nate Diaz dissed right before UFC 196: “I’ve got real training partners,” Diaz said. “Top-10 fighters. Top-10 boxers. Top-10 jiu-jitsu guys. Top-10 kickboxers. You’re playing touch-butt with that dork in the park.” (Diaz defeated McGregor by submission in the second round of that bout.)

Tune in to the Mayweather-McGregor fight in a couple months to see just how much touch-butt takes place.
