Though it was only fleeting, as the Anaheim Ducks reclaimed the lead under a minute later, Connor McDavid brought the Edmonton Oilers all the way back from an early 3-0 deficit with an astounding goal in Game 3 versus the Anaheim Ducks.
McDavid shook Sami Vatanen with a sublime change of direction while wheeling around the perimeter in the attacking zone, stepped into the space he created, and fired an arrow into the top corner over the shoulder of John Gibson.

McDavid hasn’t lit the world on fire just yet in his Stanley Cup Playoffs debut, the speculation being that he may be hampered by a few bumps and bruises.
But based on the unrivalled quality of that goal, he may soon take over yet.
