The Indianapolis Colts signed tight end Martell Webb to the practice squad, the team announced Thursday.
Webb (6-3, 278) was originally signed by the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent on July 26, 2011 and was released on Aug. 29. He then spent time with the New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Arizona Cardinals, Tennessee Titans and most recently, the Detroit Lions. Webb was signed to the Colts' practice squad on Nov. 13, 2012 and was released on Dec. 4.
Webb was a four-year letterman at Michigan and played in 38 games, making three starts at tight end. For his career, he caught nine passes for 111 yards and two touchdowns.
