Running back Ahmad Bradshaw was placed on the Physically Unable to Perform List and rookie safety John Boyett on the Non-Football Injury List to open the Indianapolis Colts' training camp.
Bradshaw, who was signed last month after six seasons with the New York Giants, continues to recover from the latest procedure on his oft-injured foot. He was unable to perform in last month's minnicamp, and no timetable has been set for his return to the field, although Bradshaw is expected to compete for the starting job in the backfield.
Boyett, 5-feet-10, 203 pounds, was a sixth-round pick out of Oregon.
He played in just one game during the 2012 season after suffering tears in the patellar tendons in both knees. Boyett led team in tackles in 2010 and 2011, recording 108 tackles with 67 solos as a junior in 2011. He played through most of his junior season with his patellar tendon issues.
