Colts getting Hard Knocks is a win-win
The Indianapolis Colts are one of eight teams that could be featured on the hit HBO show Hard Knocks. The critically acclaimed show gives fans an all-access look at the behind the scenes during training camp.
For the first time since the show first aired, the Colts meet all the criteria to be on the show. They do not have a new head coach– they have not been on the show in the last decade–they have not made the playoffs during the last two seasons.
If this happens it will almost be the cherry on the top after firing Ryan Grigson earlier this offseason and replacing him with Chris Ballard. Imagine that, Grigson has to sit there and watch Ballard and the Colts cut and dismantal the dismal team that he put together.
One thing is for sure, Colts fans will cherish this opportunity to get a look at what goes on behind the scenes. Plus all those Chuck-isms that will be played over and over again.
The Colts will be going up against Bears, Browns Buccaneers, Eagles, Ravens, Saints and the Titans.
And lately, being featured on Hard Knocks means a trip to the playoffs. Two out of the last three teams featured (Bengals and Texans) went on to make the postseason that same year.
