Donald Brown had a big night running the football, leading the way to a narrow victory for the Colts over the Titans, 30-27, at LP Field.
Andrew Luck finished the game 23 of 36 with 232 yards passing, one touchdown (0 pass, 1 rush) and no interceptions. Ryan Fitzpatrick went 22 of 28 with 222 yards passing, one touchdown and no interceptions for the Titans.
Brown was a key factor for the Colts, running all over the Titans for 80 yards on 14 carries with two touchdowns in addition to one reception for 14 yards. Coby Fleener was a highlight, pulling in eight passes for 107 yards.
The Indianapolis defense gave up 122 yards rushing and 222 passing. They got to Fitzpatrick for two sacks.
Lastly, Adam Vinatieri was perfect, hitting all three of the field goals he attempted.
Titans tight end Delanie Walker had a productive game with 91 receiving yards and one touchdown. Running back Chris Johnson had a good game as well with 86 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
The Colts head to Glendale next week to face the Cardinals (5-4) while the Titans go to Oakland to play the Raiders (3-6).
