Colorado Avalanche left wing Gabriel Landeskog has agreed to join Djurgarden of Sweden's second division, the team announced.
Last season's Calder Trophy winner as NHL Rookie of the Year, Landeskog has agreed to a two-month deal, which allows for him return to Colorado once the National Hockey League lockout ends.
Landeskog, the second overall pick in the 2011 draft, had 22 goals and 30 assists for the Avalanche. He had played for Djurgarden before being selected by the Avalanche.
