Chris Paul scores 22, Clippers beat Celtics

Chris Paul scored 22 points and added 9 assists and 7 rebounds in a complete effort to lead the Los Angeles Clippers to a victory over the Boston Celtics, 96-88. Los Angeles (15-8) has now won seven of their last 10 games.

Paul shot 8-16 from the field and 6-8 from the free throw line. Other top contributors for Los Angeles included Blake Griffin with 18 points and 7 rebounds, and Darren Collison with 10 points and 5 rebounds. Jeff Green had another big game for Boston in the loss, scoring 29 points on 10-23 shooting (3-7 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 6-6 from the free throw line. Brandon Bass chipped in 17 points and 12 rebounds and Jared Sullinger finished with 10 points and 9 rebounds.

Boston (10-14) has now dropped consecutive games after losing to Brooklyn on Tuesday.
