On 8-19 shooting, including 3-9 from behind the arc, Gerald Green put up 22 points off the bench for Phoenix in the loss. Marcus Morris chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds.
The Suns posted an eFG% of just 42.9%, including 22.2% from 3-point range. This year, they are 1-6 when they record marks below 45% and 30% in those respective categories. On the other hand, the Lakers are 7-5 when holding their opponents to such low percentages.
This defeat means an end to a six-game winning streak for Phoenix, pushing their record to 44-30 for the year.
