The Kansas City Chiefs signed cornerback Chris Owens and waived defensive lineman Brandon Moore.
Owens signed with the Cleveland Browns last offseason, but was a disappoinment and was released, going on to finish the season with the Miami Dolphins. He has played in 72 games over five seasons, including 14 starts. A third-round pick by the Atlanta Falcons in 2009, Owens also has 29 career special teams tackles.
Moore entered the NFL as an undrafted rookie in 2013, signing with the San Diego Chargers after last year's draft. He spent time on the practice squads of the Chargers and Denver Broncos before signing with the Chiefs after the season.
