ROSEMONT, Ill. -- Russ Michna's 22-yard touchdown pass to Jared Perry with four seconds left Saturday night was followed by Nick Setta's PAT kick, giving Chicago a 62-61 Arena Football League win over Milwaukee in front of 7,955 fans at Allstate Arena.
Michna finished 26-of-34 for 306 yards and six touchdowns -- four going to Terrance Turner, who had 10 receptions for 112 yards. Turner entered the game with only seven grabs for 101 yards.
Perry added six catches for 109 yards, including the big one to set up Setta's second game-winning PAT. Setta finished off a March overtime win at Iowa with a successful conversion.
The Mustangs' Gino Guidugli carved up the Rush's pass defense, completing 28-of-35 attempts for 330 yards and eight touchdowns. Scoring on every possession, the Mustangs (2-3) took the lead with 52 seconds left on Guidugli's 1-yard sneak.
On the winning drive, Chicago (5-1) appeared to get down to the Milwaukee 5-yard line with nine seconds left, but a holding call negated the play. Michna then found Perry open in the back right corner of the end zone to turn a potential heartbreaking loss into victory.
Most of Guidugli's passes went to Jonathan Wilson (11 catches, 113 yards) and Jared Jenkins (nine for 126). Jenkins caught four scoring strikes and Wilson had two, while Josue Paul and Nick Torresso also caught touchdown passes.
The Rush extended their Central Division lead over San Antonio to 1 1/2 games, pending the Talons' game Sunday in Arizona. Chicago visits San Antonio next Saturday.
