Bears Outlasted by Lions, 21-19

Brandon Marshall had a big day receiving, but it wasn't enough to avoid a surprisingly close loss for the Bears against the Lions, 21-19, at home.

Jay Cutler completed 21 of 40 passes for 250 yards, one touchdown and one pick. For the Lions, Matthew Stafford wound up 18 for 35 with 219 yards passing, three touchdowns and one pick.

Matt Forte struggled to find running room, gaining only 33 yards on 17 carries in addition to four receptions for 16 yards. Marshall was a highlight, catching seven balls for 139 yards with two scores.

The Chicago defense gave up 145 yards rushing and 219 passing.

Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson was impressive, racking up 83 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Running back Reggie Bush was also solid with 105 rushing yards.

The Bears are at home to take on the Ravens (3-5) next week while the Lions travel to Pittsburgh to meet the Steelers (2-6).
