Bears Pull Off a 27-20 Upset Over Packers

Matt Forte had a big night running the football, leading the way to an upset victory for the Bears over the much better Packers, 27-20, at Lambeau Field.

Josh McCown accounted for two touchdowns against the Packers on 22 of 41 passing for 272 yards and no interceptions. For the Packers, Seneca Wallace could not keep pace, going 11 of 19 with 114 yards passing, no touchdowns and one pick.

Forte was a focal point for the Bears, running at will on the Packers for 125 yards on 24 carries with a touchdown while adding five receptions for 54 yards. Brandon Marshall was a highlight, pulling in seven balls for 107 yards with a touchdown.

The Chicago defense was the major reason for the victory, allowing 141 yards passing and 199 rushing. They consistently put pressure on Wallace and the Packers offensive line, racking up five sacks.

Packers running back Eddie Lacy had a productive game with 150 yards rushing and one touchdown.

The Bears will play host to the Lions (5-3) next week while the Packers play against the Eagles (4-5), also at home.
