The New York defense had no answer for Brandon Marshall as he led the way to a victory for the Bears over the Giants, 27-21, at home.
Jay Cutler accounted for two scores against the Giants on 24 of 36 passing for 262 yards and no interceptions. On the Giants side, Eli Manning went 14 for 26 with 239 yards passing, one touchdown and three picks.
Matt Forte rushed for 67 yards on 19 attempts while adding six receptions for 44 yards. Marshall was a highlight, pulling in nine balls for 87 yards with two touchdowns.
The Chicago defense was the difference in the victory, allowing 123 yards rushing and 232 passing while returning one interception for a touchdown. They brought down Manning for one sack.
Giants running back Brandon Jacobs gave a standout effort with 106 yards rushing and two touchdowns. Wide receiver Rueben Randle also had a good game with 75 receiving yards and one touchdown.
The Bears travel to Landover next week to meet the Redskins (1-3) while the Giants are at home to take on the Vikings (1-3).
