CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- Saah Nimley led four of his teammates in double digits scoring 14 points, including four 3-pointers, as Charleston Southern cruised past Trinity Baptist 105-58 on Tuesday night.
Arlon Harper and Matt Kennedy also scored 14 points each and Alhaji Fullah had 11 and Cedrick Bowen had 12 for the Buccaneers (3-3). The team was deadly from every spot on the floor, hitting 52 percent from the field, 47.4 percent from the 3-point line, and making 71 percent of its free throws. Harper went 8 for 8 from the line.
Charleston Southern jumped to a 55-28 halftime lead and dominated the scoring the second period by a similar margin. Trinity Baptist relied heavily on freshman Charles Cooks who led the team with a game-high 20 points, three rebounds and two assists. The Tigers had 19 turnovers during the game.
