San Diego Chargers wide receiver Danario Alexander signed his one-year, $1.323 million tender as a restricted free agent.
He wasn't signed until late October last season, but still led the Chargers with seven touchdown receptions. He finished with 37 catches for 658 yards in the final game games.
Alexander has been participating in the team's offseason program after signing a participation agreement.
The Chargers also signed inside linebacker D.J. Smith, who was released by the Green Bay Packers this week after failing a physical. Smith tore the ACL in his right knee Nov. 27.
Smith started the first six games last season in place of Desmond Bishop.
