Chargers' Ingram tears ACL in OTAs

San Diego Chargers defensive end-linebacker Melvin Ingram tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee and is likely to be sidelined for the 2013 season.
The Chargers confirmed the injury, which Ingram sustained Tuesday morning, the second day of organized team activities (OTAs).
Ingram, the Chargers' first-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, was participating in non-contact organized team activities (OTAs) at the team facility.
He started one game for the Chargers during his rookie season and had 41 tackles and one forced fumble.
