Cleveland Cavaliers second-year point guard Kyrie Irving practiced Monday and is expected to play Tuesday after missing 11 games with a fractured left index finger, the team reported.
Irving is averaging 22.9 points and 5.6 assists in 10 games for the 4-17 Cavs, who host the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday.
Last season's Rookie of the Year was originally not expected to return for another week.
Also, guard Dion Waiters (ankle) is questionable for Tuesday's game.
