In search of depth on their defensive line since losing anchor Darnell Dockett for the season, the Arizona Cardinals are bringing in tackle Isaac Sopoaga for a workout this week, a league source told Yahoo Sports.

Sopoaga played in six games for the New England Patriots last season after being traded by the Philadelphia Eagles in late October. The lineman was inactive for the Patriots' final two regular-season and two postseason games and was later cut in March.

The veteran spent the majority of his career with the San Francisco 49ers, where he played eight of his nine NFL seasons. He has started 89 total games, including seven last season with the Eagles, with 157 tackles and 8.5 career sacks.

Arizona's defense took a major hit after Dockett suffered a torn ACL at practice on Monday.
