Cal State Bakersfield beats Idaho State 61-57

POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) -- Stefon Johnson had 10 rebounds and hit a jumper in the final minute to lead Cal State Bakersfield to a 61-57 win on Saturday night over Idaho State.

Johnson's field goal gave Cal State Bakersfield a 58-57 lead with 51 seconds remaining. After the teams traded timeouts, Issiah Grayson had a steal from Idaho State's Andre Hatchett with 18 seconds to play. The Bengals (3-6) fouled Erik Kinney, and he made 1 of 2 from the line. CSUB recovered the deadball rebound from Kinney's second shot and Javonte Maynor made a layup to cap the scoring for the Roadrunners.

Maynor scored 17 points and Brandon Barnes added 12 for Cal State Bakersfield (7-7).

Hatchett made a jumper and Chris Hansen followed with a layup to give Idaho State a 57-56 lead with 1:02 to play. Tomas Sanchez scored 17 points, and Hansen added 14 to lead the Bengals.
