Update: Bills coach Chan Gailey thinks Spiller, who injured his left shoulder during Sunday's win over Cleveland, has a good chance at returning for Week 5 and won't rule him out for the Week 4 game against New England (even though it seems like a long shot), The Buffalo News reports.
Recommendation: Said Gailey: "Maybe not as bad as originally thought. [We're] not going to completely rule him out this week, but you know, I think it’s more of a chance that he won’t than he will [play Sunday against New England] ... I think there’s a good possibility for the second week, for whoever we play after this week," he said. "We go to San Francisco? ... He’s got a good chance to be back for that one." While it's kind of humorous the coach had to think twice or ask for help about who the Bills play after the Patriots, the news keeps getting better about Spiller. It will be interesting to see how the Bills split the carries between Spiller and Fred Jackson when both are close to full health again.
