The Chicago Bulls announced Sunday that they signed guard Daequan Cook.
Cook was released by the Houston Rockets on Thursday. He averaged 3.4 points in 16 games with Houston.
Cook, out of Ohio State, was the No. 21 overall pick in the 2007 draft by the Philadelphia 76ers, who traded him to the Miami Heat. He has also played for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
He won the 3-point contest at All-Star weekend in 2009.
For his career, Cook averages 6.9 points per game.
