Ohio State's 2018 class just keeps getting better and better. Early on Saturday afternoon, the Buckeyes landed their second Rivals250 commitment of the day and it was an even bigger surprise than the first one as Owasso (Okla.) safety Josh Proctor pulled the trigger during the Spring Game.

Proctor quietly made his way to Columbus (Ohio) this weekend without any media coverage or fanfare and promptly committed to Ohio State over in-state powerhouse Oklahoma, Texas, and many others.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound safety had been linked closely to the Sooners and Longhorns, though Saturday's visit to Ohio State was not his first. Proctor camped with Ohio State last summer and was offered a scholarship by the Buckeyes at that time.

Proctor is commitment No. 7 for Ohio State in the 2018 class, all seven prospects reside within the Rivals250. Proctor is rated the No. 10 safety in the nation and the No. 124 overall prospect.

BuckeyeGrove.com will have more on Proctor's commitment shortly.
