SMITHFIELD, R.I. (AP) -- Curtis Oakley came off the bench to score a season-high 18 points - nearly double his previous high - as Bryant broke away from Division-II Salve Regina early for an 82-55 victory on Saturday afternoon.
Dan Garvin and Bosko Kostur each scored 13 for the Bulldogs (5-2), who forced 23 turnovers including 11 steals.
Salve Regina (4-1) was led by Jeff Bielefeld's 17 points and Patrick Dineen's 15. Bielefeld opened the game with Salve Regina's first two buckets putting the Seahawks ahead each time, but by halfway through the first half Bryant began walking away to double-digit leads.
The early run included a jumper and tip-in by Garvin and 3-pointers by Oakley and Corey Maynard. Oakley was 3 of 5 from the 3-point line, also a season best.
Regina didn't score for a stretch of nearly six minutes and by the time Bielefeld scored his third basket, was down 28-13.
