Boston Bruins center Patrice Bergeron sat out of the team's morning skate with an ambiguous "body injury" but he could still play.
The Bruins host the Chicago Blackhawks Monday night in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup finals. Chicago leads the best-of-seven series 3-2.
"Patrice will dress for warmup tonight and I'm feeling confident he will play," coach Claude Julien told reporters.
The team has not specified the exact nature of Bergeron's injury.
Rookie forward Carl Soderberg skated on a line between Jaromir Jagr and Brad Marchand during the practice. Soderberg played 14 minutes in his playoff debut in Game 5, which Boston lost 3-1. He played six games in the regular season and had two assists.
