The Cleveland Browns signed veteran linebacker Zac Diles to a one-year contract today following a successful tryout at their voluntary minicamp.

Diles is a 6-foot, 245-pounder from Kansas State heading into his eighth NFL season.

He was with the Tennessee Titans for the past two seasons.

He was with the Kansas City Chiefs last year during training camp before re-signing with the Titans before being cut eight weeks later in December.

A former Houston Texans seventh-round pick who's also played for the St. Louis Rams, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Indianapolis Colts, Diles has recorded 238 career tackles, one interception and one forced fumble.

He has three forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.
