Browns' rookie charged with attempted murder
Ausar Walcott, a rookie free agent with the Cleveland Browns, has been arrested in his native New Jersey on a charge of attempted murder, according to NorthJersey.com.
Walcott, 23, is charged with first-degree attempted murder, second-degree aggravated assault and third degree endangering an injured victim for allegedly punching Derrick Jones, 24, outside a New Jersey strip club. Jones remains in critical condition. Walcott was arrested Tuesday morning after he turned himself in to police, and his bail was set at $500,000 cash.
