The Cleveland Browns named Brian Baker as their outside linebackers coach and Jon Embree as tight ends coach on Thursday.
Baker previously served as defensive line coach for the Dallas Cowboys. He played linebacker and began coaching for Bobby Ross at Maryland. He brings 17 years of NFL experience, with the Carolina Panthers, Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions, St. Louis Rams and San Diego Chargers.
Embree was fired by Colorado as head football coach after two seasons.
"Brian's addition to our staff gives us another coach with extensive NFL experience," Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski said in a statement. "His players have consistently achieved a great deal of success and he has coached numerous Pro Bowl-caliber players. He has coached in several defensive schemes in his career and that versatility will be valuable as he works with Ray (Horton) and the rest of our defensive staff."
