Josh Cribbs of the Cleveland Browns left Thursday's game against the Ravens in the first half with an apparent head or neck injury and was not expected to return.
Cribbs was hit in the back of the head during a punt return and lost his helmet, then smacked his head on the turf.
He remained on the field motionless for a few minutes, but left the field under his own power.
Cribbs was a starter at wide receiver, replacing the injured Mohamed Massaquoi.
