Seattle Seahawks cornerback Brandon Browner told KJR radio this week that he wants to put his hands around San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh's neck.
Browner's comments were in response to Harbaugh earlier implying that the Seahawks were cheaters because of their previous performance enhancing drugs-related suspensions.
"I don't have anything for it," Browner said. "At the end of the day we gotta win football games. He's a coach. He's never gonna be out there lined up against me. I wish he would. I'd put my hands around his neck. At the end of the day, I'm about winning football games."
Earlier in the week, Harbaugh was asked about the Seahawks having five PED-related suspensions since 2011. Browner was suspended in November 2012 for testing positive.
Harbaugh said that players should play by the rules and that he would not tolerate his players using PEDs.
"If you cheat to win, then you've already lost, according to Bo Schembechler," Harbaugh said. "...It has no place in an athlete's body. Play by the rules. You want to be above reproach, especially when you're good, because you don't want people to come back and say, 'They're winning because they're cheating.' "
