The Denver Broncos signed practice squad wide receiver Tavarres King to their active roster and waived linebacker Adrian Robinson, the team announced Tuesday.
King (6-foot-1, 191 pounds) is a rookie from the University of Georgia who was selected by the Broncos in the fifth round (161st overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft. He spent the first six weeks of the year on Denver's practice squad after catching five passes for 64 yards (12.8 avg.) for the Broncos during the preseason.
Robinson saw action in all six games for the Broncos this season after being acquired via waivers from Philadelphia on Sept. 1. He contributed one solo tackle on defense along with two special teams stops.
"It all happened so fast, it was crazy there for a while," King said Tuesday. "I didn't know if I was going to be staying here or moving up to Green Bay. But I love it here. This is where I was drafted. I want this place to be my home. Fortunately for me, I guess I got a little love back."
