After sitting out practice one day to deal with a minor ankle injury, Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning returned Thursday.
Manning was one of eight players who sat out Wednesday's practice. Cornerback Champ Bailey and guard Chris Kuper were the only players who were out Thursday.
Manning got numerous reps during the portion of practice the media viewed -- according to the Denver Post -- which settled any anxiety about the injury he sustained during Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Coach John Fox said that Manning's ankle looked "fine." Offensive coordinator Adam Gase said that he was not concerned about Manning missing one day of practice.
The 6-1 Broncos face the visiting Washington Redskins (2-4) on Sunday.
