HATTIESBURG, Miss. - Conference USA announced the game time and television network for the 2017 Southern Miss football season opener versus Kentucky at Carlisle-Faulkner Field at M.M. Roberts Stadium.
The game, which is set for Saturday, Sept. 2, will kick off at 3 p.m., CT and be aired on the CBS Sports Network.
The Golden Eagles finished 7-6 under first-year coach Jay Hopson last season and captured the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl by defeating Louisiana-Lafayette 28-21.
Additional Conference USA football television exposures through other league television partners, as well as select non-conference road games that will air on other conferences television packages will be released as soon as they are finalized.
