The Milwaukee Brewers exercised their 2015 club option for manager Ron Roenicke.
The Brewers also added an option for 2016 to the deal.
"In picking up the option for 2015, it shows our confidence in having Ron lead this team on the field," general manager Doug Melvin said in a statement. "Last season was a difficult one, and Ron provided critical leadership with confidence and assurance that the Brewers can get back to the postseason."
The Brewers finished fourth in the National League Central at 74-88 in 2013.
Roenicke, 57, is 253-233 (.521) in three seasons as manager of the Brewers. They won a franchise record 96 games in Roenicke's first year in 2011 as he placed second in the Manager of the Year balloting.
