MILWAUKEE -- Aramis Ramirez's ninth-inning hit scored Jean Segura and gave the Brewers a 5-4 comeback victory over the Phillies Friday night at Miller Park.
Norichika Aoki grounded out to first to open the inning against Philadelphia reliever Jeremy Horst (0-2). Segura reached on an infield hit and moved to third on Ryan Braun's single.
Ramirez, who was 0-for-4 with two strikeouts bounced a 0-1 slider over third base for the walk-off winner.
Milwaukee's comeback was made possible by the bullpen, which took over after Alfredo Figaro gave up four runs on seven hits in 5 1/3 innings.
Starting with John Axford, the Brewers' bullpen held the Phillies scoreless over the final 3 2/3 innings and gave Francisco Rodriguez his first victory of the season.
Philadelphia starter Cliff Lee went seven innings, holding Milwaukee to four runs (three earned) on eight hits with three walks and nine strikeouts.
Trailing 4-2 heading into the bottom of the seventh inning, the Brewers pulled to within one run on a leadoff walk by Aoki and a Segura triple.
Segura scored when second baseman Freddy Galvis, handling the cutoff, overthrew catcher Erik Kratz, allowing Segura to score and tie the game.
Back-to-back, one-out doubles by John Mayberry and Jimmy Rollins gave Philadelphia a 1-0 lead in the first inning. The Phillies added three in the fourth on Delmon Young's run-scoring single and a two-run homer by Erik Kratz.
The Brewers put runners in scoring position with less than two outs in each of the first three innings but were unable to cash in against Lee, who struck out five through three innings.
