Bradley Beal, Nene Hilario power Wizards over Timberwolves

Bradley Beal had another big game, scoring 25 points on 9-21 shooting from the field (2-3 from behind the arc) and 5-5 from the free throw line. Washington also got solid performances from Nene Hilario with 20 points and 5 rebounds, Martell Webster with 17 points and 9 rebounds, and Marcin Gortat with 14 points and 7 rebounds. Kevin Love had another strong game for Minnesota in the loss, putting up 25 points on 8-17 shooting (4-10 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 5-9 from the free throw line. He also registered 11 rebounds. Nikola Pekovic contributed 13 points and 6 rebounds, J.J. Barea finished with 12 points and 7 assists, and Kevin Martin put up 11 points and 5 rebounds.

After putting up a sparkling assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.82, the Wizards are undefeated (2-0) on the season when eclipsing 2.50 in this category. However, the Timberwolves are 0-1 when allowing their opponents to achieve such a lofty ratio.

Minnesota (7-5) couldn't get consecutive victories after beating Boston on Saturday.
