The NHL announced Monday that Columbus Blue Jackets goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky, Toronto Maple Leafs right wing Phil Kessel and Dallas Stars goaltender Richard Bachman were named the league's "Three Stars" for the week.
Bobrovsky went 3-0-0 with a 0.97 goals-against average, .971 save percentage and a shutout in three games. He stopped 100 of 103 shots in 185 minutes.
Bobrovsky has allowed two or fewer goals in 16 of his last 20 games. He is 16-10-6 and ranks second in the NHL with a .932 save percentage and sixth with a 2.01 goals-against average.
Kessel led the league with five goals and tied for the lead with seven points in three games. He leads the Maple Leafs with 27 assists and 42 points in 41 games this season.
Bachman went 3-0-0 with a 1.08 goals-against average and .963 save percentage. He is 6-3-0 with a 3.18 goals-against average and .884 save percentage in 11 appearances this season.
