Blake Griffin: (Elbow/Neck) Playing Wednesday Staff

Update: Griffin (elbow/neck) will play Wednesday against the Spurs, the Los Angeles Times reports.

Recommendation: Although Griffin is expected to see his full slate of minutes against the Spurs, coach Vinny Del Negro has expressed his concern about Griffin's elbow problem, which is irritating him "a little bit." Griffin has been dealing with the elbow problem since last season and played through the injury, but Del Negro indicated the injury is more concerning this season. "It's a little more swelling," Del Negro said. "He's had that for a long time. But this time it seems to be a little bit more than normal." Griffin has struggled thus far in the season, averaging 16.3 points while shooting a subpar 45.1 percent from the field. If the elbow problems linger, Griffin could have difficulty approaching the 20.7 points on 54.9 percent shooting he produced last season.
