The Chicago Blackhawks recalled goaltender Henrik Karlsson from Rockford of the American Hockey League on Friday.
Karlsson, 29, posted a 2-2-0 record with a 2.23 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage in four games with Rockford this season.
The 6-foot-6 Swedish goalie was acquired from Calgary on Jan. 21 and played his first game for Rockford on Feb. 1.
Appearing in 26 games for the Flames from 2010 to 2012, Karlsson logged a 5-9-8 record with a 2.79 goals-against average and a .905 save percentage. He also played in the Swedish Elite League from 2008 to 2010.
