The Buffalo Bills will be without two key players tonight against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as Kyle Williams is out with a leg injury while Sammy Watkins is still recovering from a hit to the ribs last weekend against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Starting left guard Chris Williams will sit again as a precaution. The other most significant inactive is defensive tackle Alan Branch, who was expected to be the team's top rotational player at the position but has fallen way down the roster. Being inactive tonight won't help his case for being on the roster but the Bills paid him a $3.1 million signing bonus this winter.
Other inactives are DB Mario Butler, S Jonathan Meeks, DB Bobby Felder, and TE Tony Moeaki. Outside of Meeks, none are expected to make the final roster. Moeaki's talent hasn't been realized in Buffalo as he's been injured during the majority of his time, a common theme throughout his career.
